2017 brought me a lot of adventures (and misadventures); a lot of uncontrolled laughter (and unnecessary bawling); a lot of realizations (and a bit of confusion); a lot of reconciliations and healing; a lot of color and an ocean of words; a lot of scary firsts and wonderful endings.
Keeping my head above water, surfacing with a stronger and wiser heart.
To everyone who’s been part of my rollercoaster, thank you for sharing your pieces with me, you’ve made me whole.
Going into 2018 with 2016 hair, uncut nails and a whole lot of I don’t give a damn 😂
First of the year with the loves of my life
Today starts the first chapter of a new book and as I close the old one and keep it at the memories section of my library, I flip through the pages one last time. I find that it was full of adventure and fun discoveries, new people, new places and new learnings. I find that there were times I became unguarded and it was somehow, liberating. I find there were more laughter than tears, and many more firsts for me.
To the people who co-authored my book, you’ve definitely added more art and color and I’m very thankful for making it really pretty.
As we embark to 2017, may we learn to dream more, share more, laugh more and love more.
To another good year ahead! 🍻
2015 was truly a remarkable year that was filled with wonderful surprises and amazing experiences. It was a breather and I’ve had my family and friends to thank for walking with me through this milestone.
Here’s to another year full of all that have never been. May it be as remarkable as the year that was. Happy New Year everyone!🎉
At the most random moment, you meet someone who totally changes how you look at life. They are flawed, imperfect, atypical and different. Ink sprawls colorful stories on their skin and at some point they bare to you their wounded soul and have you a glimpse at their shattered hearts. They have dealt with pain and heartache like nothing you have ever had to endure yet they still manage to genuinely laugh and be kind. They have scarred beautifully and I am so grateful to have known a person who’s raw and real.
It is awe-inspiring and overwhelming to have seen life through your ambiguous eyes even if it were just a thread of conversations. Thank you for the inspiration. I needed that, I needed you. Thank you.
Air fare: NO Promo, NO check-in
Rustan’s: Chocolates don’t sell the same with S&R (go figure)
The look on this chipmunk’s face: Priceless.
Will be hoarding moments such as these.
Life is full of doors wherein we get to choose which ones to go through. What is behind each door? One does not know unless one opens and sees for himself. Each door leads to different events that compose our lives. It solely depends on us which doors to open and enter and which doors to close and lock.
Some thoughts about doors by Paulo Coelho (one of my favorite authors).
God gave us the ultimate power: to choose the life we live. We make our choices and our choices make our life. Whatever the outcome, no one is accountable but us. So choose wisely.
Choose to be happy.

2013 was not the best year for me. It was full of stress, tears, betrayal and heartache. It was an overwhelming year, I could actually describe it as the “highlight” of my life. But if we dwell and count all the wrong that has happened to us, we would find a bad year after year, after year. So instead let us be thankful for the year that was; the blessings that God has continued to shower upon us.
What am I thankful for?
I am thankful for the wonderful blessing of family. Through my ups and downs, success and failures, through whatever, they have never left my side. With them, I know where to run in times of trouble, I know where I stand, I know I am priority. We may not always agree on things but i know that their intentions are for the best.
I am thankful for amazing friends who has continued to look out for me, journey with me and support me on whatever I decide to do and respect the choices that I make.
I am thankful for the beautiful gift called life. My children has been my inspiration to move on and move forward. They have given me my life’s direction and they are what I continue to live for.
As we close another chapter of our lives and open a fresh and new one, know that it is inevitable that we face challenges as we go along. But believe that it will be okay. Remind yourself that it will all be okay, say it enough, say it so often that one day you’ll actually believe it.
Everything that we want to happen in our lives solely depends upon us. All things happen for a reason so hold on, have faith and never give up cause who’s to say that tomorrow won’t be the best day of your life?
From me to you, a blessed 2014. A new year, a new life, another chance to get it right! Let’s all embark on new adventures! Cheers!
